Yellowbrick goes Green!
G-layer is very excited to now offer an environmentally responsible option in GPS tracking devices! Yellowbricks are powered with a common USB charger that many people already have at home.
They can even be charged simply by plugging into the USB port on your computer.
So we thought, why not let you decide if you need a charger, or if you prefer to save the resources and freight, and let the environment benefit instead.
By importing Yellowbrick tracking devices without the packaging and charging devices, we significantly reduce their weight, thereby cutting down on carbon emissions by an estimated 3.7 tonnes per 200 units.
Support the Australian Conservation Foundation
with Yellowbrick trackers
Customers can now choose to donate the cost of the charger and packaging ($17) to ACF, one of our country’s most influential environmental organisations.
And for every “Naked Yellowbrick” sold, G-Layer will chip in another $3 to round up the donation to $20.
We can send you the tracking device in a recycled padded jiffy bag, while helping ACF continue their important work protecting our biodiversity, oceans, forests and climate.
We know that many of you spend a lot of time exploring the places you love among Australia’s beautiful deserts, forests and oceans. Now you have the opportunity to help preserve this beauty for our future generations.
The Australian Conservation Foundation has a proud 50 year history of protecting Australia’s life support systems, our clean air, water and special places. Today ACF works towards real change to secure a sustainable environment.
